"I visited this location hoping to get some help getting the right paint, but the experience was deeply disappointing. The staff was unwelcoming, unhelpful, and frankly rude. I was treated as if I were a suspect rather than a paying customer. I will not be returning to this location. There are plenty of other places where customers are treated with basic dignity and respect. Don’t go there hoping to find solutions, you will only find problems and rudeness."

"Awful customer service/ lazy staff. You’d think they’d be at least somewhat pleasant to their regular customers. They also close 15 minutes late every night, stand in front of the door, and ignore people confused why they can’t grab an extension cord 15 minutes prior to closing."

"I have been a customer at the ACE Hardware on 1st Ave going on five years. I am renovating my apartment nearby and every time I come in which is pretty often, the staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Whatever ACE on 1st Avenue is doing, they're doing it right!"
